OUR MISSION:

To promote the sound management, conservation, and restoration, where necessary, of wild felids in the Western Hemisphere through science-based
management and education.

The Wild Felid Research and Management Association (WFA) was formed to address the myriad challenges facing the management and conservation of wild felid populations. WFA believes that success is contingent upon a cooperative and interdisciplinary approach involving researchers, managers, land use planners, educators, conservationists, other interested parties and the public. Currently no professional association in the Western Hemisphere meets all these needs. The WFA will fill this role.
